Over the hedge wiki game

The game then jumps forward in time to one year later. At this point, stealing food from humans has become routine for the animals. After coming home from yet another successful heist, however, they find their home in shambles. Not only has their TV been broken, but all the food's been stolen as well. As it turns out, Dwayne has returned to the suburbs, bringing with him an army of brainwashed animals controlled by mind-control caps and even more traps placed throughout the entire neighborhood.

So in addition to dodging the Verminator's traps, the animals must now fend off the brainwashed animals using their weapons. Over the course of the game, the animals' heists take them not only to different houses in the suburbs, but also an amusement park to steal both a popcorn machine and cotton candy machine among other things. In the game's final stages, however, the story shifts as the animals find that Dwayne has kidnapped Heather, and this leads to a showdown with Dwayne himself in the heart of VermTech headquarters.

This final battle ends with the animals destroying the capping controller, freeing all the brainwashed animals from Dwayne's control. Come the game's end, Verne, RJ, and the rest of the animals all prepare to hibernate for the winter with all the food they've claimed in that year. In the game, players have the option of choosing to play as one of four different characters, each of which carries a different weapon: RJ the raccoon, who's armed with a golf club, Verne the turtle with his hockey stick,, Stella the skunk with a toilet plunger, and Hammy the squirrel with a stick.

All four characters essentially play the same, but with different animations. Each character also has both a ranged attack and a special attack that they can use to fight off enemies. Release date: Coming soon. After RJ Stephen Stanton , a hungry raccoon, fails to get snacks from a vending machine, he becomes so desperate that he tries to raid a large food cache belonging to Vincent Jess Harnell , a hibernating black bear.

However, while trying to finish by stealing a can of "Spuddies" potato chips, he wakes Vincent and loses both the food and the wagon that it is on when a truck runs it over. Hastily, he promises to replace everything by the time Vincent reawakens in a week. After he leaves Vincent's cave he gets the snack from the vending machine.

Meanwhile, a group of forest animals, led by Verne Drew Massey the box turtle, emerge from hibernation to find their food cache nearly empty. They begin foraging but find a large hedge blocking their way. Verne investigates, discovering a human residential community that confuses and frightens him. RJ, who sees the entire commotion, convinces the other animals that it is easier to raid the humans' garbage for food rather than forage for it, and they manage to get enough food to keep them from starving.

Verne, however, remains wary, especially after homeowners association president, Gladys Sharp, Tress MacNeille discovers the animals in her yard, chases them out through the hedge, and hires VermTech exterminator or "Verminator" Dwayne LaFontant Fred Tatasciore to keep them out.

Worried for his family's safety, Verne decides to return the food to the humans. RJ tries to stop him, resulting in an argument between the two. This attracts the attention of a playful Rottweiler named Nugent Brian Stepanek , who chases them across several lawns before all of the food the animals gathered is destroyed along with Gladys's car.

Over the Hedge is a video game based on the film of the same name. In the video game, which takes place a year after the movie, RJ, Hammy, Verne, and the gang have all their stuff stolen from the log by The Sniffer, Dwayne the Verminator , and VermTech.

This leads them on a wild romp through six different areas to snatch different things such as a popcorn machine and a TV for themselves.

There are several mini games as bonuses in the game. All through the game, they try to take these things while avoiding the Sniffer , who tries to defeat them by using mind-controlled vermin he has captured as his "henchmen" as well the traps he's placed all throughout the neighborhood.

At one point, many animals, including weasels, badgers, moles, and even Vincent the bear are controlled. The game's events start at the very end of the movie, with the animals raiding Gladys' house. During the raid, however, Dwayne the Verminator arrives and captures most of the animals, with the exception of RJ. RJ escapes with the food and takes it all to Vincent.

However, upon seeing the other animals, the ones he's come to call his friends, being driven away in the Verminator's van, RJ has a change of heart and rides the wagon-load of food down the hill and lands on the van. The impact of the wagon on the van causes Hammy and Stella to be freed from their cages. After freeing the other animals, Stella then hijacks the van and drives them back to Gladys' neighborhood. Upon returning to the hedge, Hammy and Verne narrowly escape an attack from both Dwayne and Vincent, culminating in Hammy taking an energy drink, giving RJ Verne's shell, and activating the De-Pelter, ultimately defeating Gladys, Dwayne, and Vincent in one fell swoop.

The game then jumps to one year later. At this point in time, raiding humans' houses seems to have become routine for RJ, Verne, Hammy, Stella, and the rest of the animals. Upon returning from another successful heist, however, the animals discover that all their food has been stolen, and other things that they possess, like their TV, have been destroyed.

That night, they decide to steal a projector to replace their TV. During their heist, they find that Dwayne has not only returned to the suburbs, but has also created mind-control caps that he uses to make their fellow animals fight them. The next day, the animals resume raiding people's houses, this time with the intention of refilling after their food was stolen, all while avoiding both the Verminator's minions and traps.
