The objective is to reach Pauline at the top of the construction site. Use the side buttons to jump for the hammer which destroys barrels and fireballs or jump over separations in the girders. You only have so much time to reach the top.
Watch the timer on the right side of the screen. Complete the 4 different screens and advance through the levels. The intermission screen tracks how high you have climbed. Even more! Bats continue coming out during the entire game and you never know what robot will challenge you. Other enhancements include faster game play, randomness of play, and more. It is Ms Pacman on steroids! The game play to Thunder Castle is slow and takes away from the fun of the game.

This version is a 1 or 2 player player version with 4 levels of play! The computer AI is more than challenging making you have to fight to win! He finally decided to develop his own graphics engine, and was able to push the console to its limit.
Donkey Kong Arcade makes the Intellivision shine. It contains all intermissions, and all 4 arcade levels, with the added bonus of being able to play as different characters - each with their own strengths and weaknesses!

Though this game is pretty much universally reviled and ridiculed in the Intellivision community, graphically, just a few small touches would have done so much: fire in the oil can, more detail on Donkey Kong himself, and of course, more detail for Pauline.
