Enchanted widescreen edition

Unfortunately, Ms. Hathaway's character's "gift" is When she falls in love with a prince, and he with her , she STILL can't show her true feelings, because the uncle who wants to take over the throne won't let her. Unlike some actresses, M s. Hathaway had finally tired of playing princesses and wanted OUT of doing this. This film is a REAL winner. The wait was worth it!

A totally enchanting movie, in directing, acting, music, script, story, scenery, camera angles Read full review. Verified purchase: Yes Condition: Pre-owned.

I absolutely love it!! This is the kind of movie kids should be watching! Anne Hathaway gives an adorable performance as Ella, a girl betwixed with a spell that makes her perform everything asked of her!

On the Bambi variant, the music is extended as a French Canadian announcer announces the feature s following the film. Below them, the words "Stay Tuned Never Before Seen Footage" wipe in.

Availability : Uncommon. Trivia : Interestingly, not only does this have an American-sounding announcer, but it happens to Brian Cummings, whose voiceover here mentioned below was shortened for use in a couple of American IDs. ID : On a blue background. Availability : Rare. And then there's some deleted scenes, who also are interesting and someone who actually could have fit the movie , but also too short.

Then it is the second disc, who comes in a little cover for it self. The disc includes only a 31 minute "making off"-featurette, who are in English, but you can have Spanish subtitles too. Quite interesting featurette and should definitively be more available to "Enchanted" fans.

The crew talks about the animation, the setting, the design and the songs. The only bad thing with this featurette is when it comes to the end they are rushing a little bit. As for the movie itself: It's sweet and enjoyable, but you should at least watch it three times before you can see this film as a whole.

The animated parts gives you a good, nostalgic feeling and it's a homage to old Disney. The rest of the film is okay too, it's a little strange too hear Alan Menken's score in a half live action film, but his score and songs are wonderful. The only one who stands a little bit out is Patrick Dempsey's character and Timothy Spall as Nathaniel.

Otherwise, this is a cute and funny movie that every Disney fan not should miss. Read full review. I am a doll collector. I first found the Patrick Dempsey doll and then went looking for the Amy Adams doll.

The dolls are a good likeness to the characters. Then - I had to see the movie! I love Disney movies, anyway, and my granddaughter was up for it.

We thoroughly enjoyed it. A totally different twist to an otherwise typical happily ever after Disney movie. I highly recommend the dolls and the movie. For additional information, see the Global Shipping Program terms and conditions - opens in a new window or tab.
